Looking for moonbows in California

We finally upgraded our digital camera. Our previous camera was a Canon S10 (one of the first Canon digital camera from 1999) and was used only sporadically.

Something in the package caught my attention and I highlighted it in red on the following picture:



Version (release) 23???? I guess this is printed so that a Canon Customer Support Representative can use this information when troubleshooting software issues but this is kind of scary to see that on a CD (and a reminder that the S10 got discontinuated pretty fast).

Talking about driver, we also got a new printer. The drivers plus basic software to use all the functionnalities (it's a all in one) take several hundred of Mb.

My wife and I have 1 laptop each from the same manufactor but different models (same OS). Guess what? The camera drivers works fine on my PC but not on hers and the printers drivers work fine on her PC but not in mine... This is getting out of hand!!
