If you are interested in working in the Data Warehouse Data Warehouse sur Technorati">  (DW) field, I would recommend to take a look at the following book:

Impossible Data Warehouse Situtations: Solutions from the Experts by Sid Adelman with contributions from Joyce Bischoff, Jill Dyché, Douglas Hackney, Sean Ivoghli, Chuck Kelley, David Marco, Larissa T. Moss and Clay Rehm.

I would personnaly rename it as "Common Data Warehouse Situations" but I guess it would be less marketing savy ;)

This book provide some possible solutions for 91 seemingly impossible DW situations. 49 management challenges  and 42 technical challenges.

If you are considering working in this field, this will give you a good idea of the non-trivial issues you will have to deal with at some point. If you do not like what you read then you might want to consider doing something else...

For people dealing with DW from a high-level prospective this also provide some good "common sense" related to DW.

The author of the book and most of the contributing experts also answer questions related to DW in "Ask the Experts" column of DMReview.
