Tim announced the beta version of the O'Reilly Connection.

Since I really like what O'reilly is doing latelly and the new ideas they are exploring, I decided to give it a try.

It seems to covers the basics on what you would expect from a Social Network platform and I kind of like the interface but nothing major from an innovation perspective. I think that what will make the difference is how the geek community is going to use it. I also did not see any API to leverage all the tags used to describe skills, employers...

At this time, it seems that I am the only one with Data Mining skills ;)
